Bantel’s Sensation stores water in its thick foliage and prefers its soil to dry considerably between waterings. Overwatering is much more likely to cause problems than underwatering, so resist the urge to give it frequent little drinks. A well-draining potting mix and drainage hole are important.

Although Snake Plants are famous for tolerating low light, this is a variegated variety, so medium to bright indirect light is ideal for keeping those creamy-white stripes looking their best. It can tolerate softer light, but brighter filtered conditions will generally showcase the variegation better.

Bantel’s Sensation is also a relatively slow, upright grower. Mature foliage can reach roughly 2–3 feet tall while remaining remarkably narrow, which is exactly what makes it so useful for smaller spaces.
